VOLK is a cyberpunk espionage thriller that takes you into the dystopian near future of 2037; where humanity is in the midst of a technological renaissance that is being directly manipulated and steered by wealthy elitist interests with their own personal agenda. This is a future where the banks and corporations have complete undisputed control of entire nations. No one dares to question their multi-trillion dollar supremacy, let alone stand in the way of their ulterior motives for maintaining control and keeping the people divided. Even military and law enforcement no longer serve the purpose they once did. They are now glorified bodyguards and security officers for those with power, money and influence, leaving the rest of the population to fend for themselves. These dark chaotic times have given rise to a new outlawed breed of independent military contractors known as Ronin. These contractors offer their numerous services for a price to those who need to dispense justice around their neighborhoods.
