ooh despite certain tropes still being present, this comic is really good! It is truly horror/suspense at its finest. I take back this being like "Annabelle" and honestly can't find an exact comparison, because the doll thing itself only lasted one issue... this one has a new artfact,and it seems that every issue will focus on how a different object plays into the ongoing story. This comic is certainly shaping up to be like a great movie or mini series! The cursed heirlooms within are really where this story is compelling,as they make you question whether they are haunted or if it's just mind over matter and history unfortunately repeating itself in twisted ways...but either way, I'm hooked!
(...now for the reason for 4 stars instead of 5... and a note to the publisher: there is a spelling error on page 10. It should say "honor THY mother" instead of "honor THEY mother" ...but everything else seems to be correctly spelled and what not.... it really doesn't take you out of the story or anything, but I'm just wanting the publisher to be made aware that the typo is there for future re-printings,as I'm sure others might notice it too...especially because I'm currently the only review and I'm pointing it out... but please, don't let one little typo ruin this for you,fellow readers, this book is great! )
