Its D Day

This day in history, June 6th 1944 the allied landing at Normandy marked the most dramatic part of Operation Overlord and marked the beginning of the Liberation of Europe.

Over 425,000 Allied and German troops were killed, wounded, or went missing during the Battle of Normandy. This is a somber day. Celebrate by taking a moment and recognizing all those that gave everything so that we could be free.

The image was from a 5 issue mini series I am drawing/writing properly titled D-Day.
