Welcome my CryptoComics Compatriots. I wanted to tell you a little bit about this new blog series that I am excited to write. I just got my copy of Procreate Dreams and I am getting way too getty to keep it to myself…

I'll be chronicling my journey from comic book artist to motion comic maestro using this revolutionary app.

As a seasoned comic book fan and part-time artist, I've always been captivated by the dynamic medium of motion comics. The ability to breathe life into static panels and immerse readers in a world of moving visuals has always fascinated me. When I encountered Procreate Dreams, an intuitive animation app designed specifically for iPad, I knew I had discovered the perfect tool to embark on this exciting creative endeavor.

In this blog series, I'll be sharing my firsthand experiences as I delve into the intricacies of Procreate Dreams, guiding you along the path of transforming your comic book creations into mesmerizing motion comics. We'll explore the app's interface, uncover its animation techniques, and master the art of bringing your characters and scenes to life.

I have been using Procreate for years so this is an experiment into their newest program that has a ton of promise. I will meticulously walk you through the interface and each and every step needed to create a motion comic. I will presume that if you are following along, you will already have a comic script in place. I will be dusting off a single page of script in order to draw up that particular page and animate it. 

I will also be animating the CryptoComics logo as well in order to create a badge (I know how you all seem to love your badges). I will also be starting out with just a simple walking animation, that's harder than you think. This is something that I've already created in Procreate that I will be trying to recreate in Procreate Dreams. Let's get into it...

As a side note, this will not be taking over the blog. This series of post will be coming out as I complete them. I will not be dedicating 100% of my time to this, as I sill have several other responsibilities. So, expect other blog topics to come out while I write this, including a video on how to letter your comic.
