Welcome, my CryptoComics Compatriots. Have you ever hovered over the buy button on a digital comic, then opened a new tab instead? You’re interested, but something tells you to slow down. That moment matters more than you think.
Collectors aren’t impulsive by nature. Well, some of us might be, but that's another story. Overall, we’ve learned to be careful or cautious. And when new technology enters the picture, that instinct gets louder. It’s not just one thing that causes hesitation. It’s a pile of them.
There’s the fear of losing money.
The fear of not understanding what you’re buying.
The fear of messing something up because the process feels unfamiliar.
The strange language that makes you feel like you missed a meeting.
The memory of platforms that disappeared and took purchases with them.
And maybe the biggest one of all, the fear of asking a question and sounding stupid.
When all of that hits at once, hesitation makes sense.
So instead of clicking buy, you open a new tab. You’re not trying to become an expert. You’re just hoping to find a simple explanation that makes things feel clearer. And sometimes, you never come back.
Here’s the thing. That hesitation doesn’t mean Digital Collectables aren’t for you. It means you care about what you collect.
I get it. I’ve been there. I’ve watched platforms shut down. I’ve lost access to things I paid for. That kind of experience stays with you. It should.
This isn’t a space where you’re expected to rush, trust blindly, or pretend past failures never happened.
Think of this the way you’d think about walking into a comic shop you haven’t visited before. You don’t grab the first book and head to the register. You browse. You flip through pages. You ask a question. Or you don’t. Sometimes you just look around and leave.
That’s allowed.
One thing I want to be very clear about; there are no dumb questions here. If something doesn’t make sense, that’s not a failure on your part. New systems come with new language, and nobody should feel embarrassed for wanting clarity.
So often, we are in the trenches, building a new system and community, that we forget that not everyone has immersed themselves in as deep as we have. We might use terminology that we have become accustomed to but most people are still lost with it.

This isn’t a failure on your part, it's one on ours. We need to remember that not everyone is a blockchain expert or a crypto wizard. We need to remember that if crypto is to ever be adopted by the general public, we need to make sure that it is accessible. That has been a huge problem for almost every crypto based system ever. It’s almost like we put up these barriers, most times unintentionally, but they are still there.
If you want to ask a question, even one you think you should already know the answer to, you can. That’s part of how collecting works. It always has been. Comment with your questions, send us a message on Facebook.
Feel free to reach out to anyone on our team, or someone from the greatest community ever, right here on Discord. We will be here for you to talk with you, not like a salesman but as a friend.
Think of it like stepping into the back room of the shop and asking the owner how something works. No pressure. No judgment.
You don’t need to buy anything today. You don’t need to decide anything. You don’t even need to fully understand how everything works yet.
If you’re curious, you can browse the CryptoComics Marketplace the same way you’d browse shelves. Look at covers. Read descriptions. See what catches your eye. Then close the tab if that’s where you’re at.

Treat this like browsing a comic shop, not checking out. If and when you’re ready, we’ll talk about the details. We’ll walk you through it and explain it in a way that makes sense to you. For now, it’s enough to slow down and know that your hesitation isn’t a flaw. It’s part of being a collector.
