In 2014, Everyone’s Comics was born from the belief that anyone, regardless of experience or resources, should have the opportunity to create and share their stories. From the start, our mission has been clear: Everyone’s Comics exists to support creators of all kinds.

Let’s be real: the comic book industry hasn’t always been kind to indie creators. For years, great stories have gone unnoticed, overshadowed by the fear of big publishers who resist new ideas. That’s why this revolution is so important. 

When we sat down with comic industry veterans and envisioned a revolution, the goal was simple: create a space where independent creators could publish freely, retain all their rights, and reach an audience hungry for new, innovative stories.

Our idea, Everyone’s Comics, wasn't just a clever name—it was a mission to remove the barriers that kept incredible stories locked away from readers. Back then, the idea was simple: a platform for self-publishing, where creators could share their works, unfiltered and unedited, with the world. That vision hasn’t changed.

When we (eX-Comics AKA Everyone’s Comics) teamed up with ApogeeINVENT to build CryptoComics, we knew we needed to expand and evolve to keep up with the times. But at its heart, CryptoComics is still just a product, a tool created to further the mission of Everyone’s Comics. 

Blockchain technology became the key to building a future where creators not only control their work but can also profit long-term through a marketplace designed for them. CryptoComics allows creators to publish independently while giving fans the opportunity to buy, sell, and trade digital comics—all while ensuring that creators continue to benefit from each sale. Yep, residual income.

But CryptoComics isn’t just about blockchain. Yes, we use blockchain to allow creators to mint their comics as digital collectibles, but we also offer a large free library through our borrowing system, making stories accessible to all readers. 

Early on, we used YouTube to build various series like The CryptoComics Studio, a “How-To” series designed to educate aspiring indie creators. These videos focused on breaking down the barriers to entry, helping new creators navigate the complexities of self-publishing and comic creation. 

Alongside that, our Kickstarter Launch Parties showcased deserving creators who rarely got the spotlight they desperately needed. We hosted these events to help creators get funded — entirely free of charge. We’ve always believed that indie creators need support, not more obstacles, and these initiatives proved that mission was more than just talk.

Everyone’s Comics is still the driving force behind everything we do. Our focus has always been on you…the creator. It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, CryptoComics exists to give you the freedom to create without compromise. 

We’re still on the same mission we set out on, back in 2014: to offer a platform where anyone can become a creator and where fans and creators alike can thrive.
