This 1950's superhero series published by Ajax-Farrell featured Steve Drake, an FBI Agent, as a grim Cold War avenger known as the Black Cobra. He was assisted by his sidekick, the Cobra Kid.

(NOTE: Chronologically, this should have been the #2 issue of Black Cobra. However, the publisher accidentally continued the numbering from Billy Bunny (1954) #1-5 instead. Also: Black Cobra gets a hurry up call for help from a great atomic plant in "Deadline for Danger/The Mystery of the Falling Corpse"! And: "A Message to Gomez," a reprint story on press photographers in Cuba during the Spanish-American War. Plus: 2-page text story "No Cowards Allowed"!
